School Bus Attacked in Gurugram by Anti-Padmavat Protestor Karni Sena

One day before the release of movie Padmavat, Karni Sena in its act of protesting against the release of movie has been stooped to the level of attacking a school bus in gurugram, Haryana. The school bus was attacked by the members of the Karni Sena by hurling stones which created a panic among the school kids in the bus. The police has arrested 13 people so far in this connection.

The students in the bus were terrified to the extent that they were being heard crying and teachers were pacifying the students and asking them to stop crying so that the members of Karni Sena cannot hear them and the hurling of stones could stop. The students were asked to remain inside the bus so that they did not get hurt.

Sandeep Khirwar, Gurgaon Police Commissioner said that the police is deploying the adequate police officers to stop the Karni Sena from doing any further act of protest. Even the mall owners where the movie theaters are set up have been asked to stringent their security as the movie is set to release today. He further condemned the act of attacking school bus by Karni Sena and said that strict action will be taken as 13 persons have been detained in this regard.

A video clip of the bus being attacked has been viral and it can be seen in the video that the teacher in the bus is asking the driver to keep moving, there were glass shreds on bus seats and children to avoid being hit by the stones were covering themselves down the street. 

The incident has taken place at the Sohna Road, Gurugram, Haryana and the school bus which has been attacked belongs to the G.D.Goenka Public School.

Member of Karni Sena, Vivek Sherawat justified the incident by saying that it was manifestation of the anger against the movie. Even after the supreme court has allowed the release of movie Karni Sena has not stopped protesting against its release. 

The violence of Karni Sena has been witnessed in the states of Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.

The Chief of Karni Sena has said that even he gets arrested he won't let the Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie Padmavat to get released.
