E-Courts or electronic courts are based on the concept of National Policy and Action Plan for Implementation of Information and Communication Technology in the Indian Judiciary - 2005. The aim of bringing the concept of e-courts into existence is to develop, install and implement the decision making for a better support system in courts across the nation. The objectives of this project are:
1. To have proper and regular administration in the judicial activities.
2. To help the Judicial officials in administering and reducing the number of pending cases.
3. To provide a fair and transparent platform to provide information to the litigants.
4. To provide judges in accessing the legal and judicial databases.
The E-courts India program is sure to set the bandwagon of legal proceedings and processes with new wheels of progress and development. Helping the lawyers and litigants to find all the prerequisites on the palm of their hand. Stay tuned to find out more on the webcast today!
